DICTIONARY FOR PRISONERS
This project will supply all prisoners who write and request a collegiate dictionary and GED work books at no charge. An optional donation would be greatly appreciated, but not required. We would like to be able to furnish 500 dictionaries and 100 GED workbooks per year (New/Used) per VDOC rules & regulations. Estimated cost: $2,500
POSTAGE FUNDING
This project will cover all postage expenses incurred over the year approximately $3,500. Covering monthly, quarterly mailings, resource books, free prisoner dictionaries, GED workbooks and other correspondence materials to inmates, ex-offender, their families and concerned citizens.
LAW LIBRARY ASSISTANCE
Donations to develop an expensive law library providing at-risk youth, prisoner, formerly incarcerated persons and their families access to legal information and resource.
Donations to purchase used/new legal help books, manuals, case law on a continuous basis;
information shall be provided and available to all persons for free. Estimated cost: $5,000
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
#71692 Resource Information Help for the Disadvantaged (RIHD). Federal, Military & Postal employees in the Central Virginia region, who wish to support RIHD through tax deductible payroll deductions. Donations made to CFC to be used for transporation assistance for families and children with incarcerated loved one in faraway prisons and the Dictionary and GED for prisoners program.
